The great political awakening that should be happening in America right now is middle-class people realizing how deeply and bitterly the Left hates them, and how eager they are to act on that hatred.
If you haven't figured it out yet, the Left's seething hatred for white people is just the old Marxist hatred for the middle class wrapped in racialist rhetoric. The goal here is subjugating the middle class, taking away its property and political strength to defend itself.
The middle class is the great enemy of socialism because it has property, jobs, and investments AND the numbers to exercise formidable political strength, all thanks to capitalism, the only system that makes enough people prosperous to sustain such a huge middle class.
The Left realized that "white people" can be used as a proxy for attacking the middle class. Whipping up hatred for white people is easy, and they can be taught to hate themselves, especially with their children in the grip of leftist indoctrination through the school system.
Railing against the middle class is dangerous for Marxists - it gives the game away, and the victims correctly see it as the prelude to class warfare and robbery. But the Left created an environment where white people could be attacked all day long. They made it "respectable."
Socialism spreads by making innocent people feel like criminals who deserve to be punished by the ever-growing State. Every bit of the Left's anti-America, anti-white crusade is designed to perpetuate that feeling of inherent, inescapable, collective guilt.
You're in prison where you belong, and Democrats are the guards and wardens. There was no trial, and there will be no parole. According to socialist rhetoric, America is in the sentencing phase now, with nothing left to settle but the size of the fines and comforts of the cells.
Notice how quickly Democrat rhetoric falls apart when their anti-white tirades are applied to, say, impoverished whites in the Appalachians with cratering life expectancies. What jobs did they steal from black people? Who are they oppressing? How would they pay reparations?
Whiteness is a proxy for the middle class, and everything Democrats demand to "fix" the problem of "systemic racism" is designed to sabotage, impoverish, terrorize, and subjugate the middle class. There won't BE one in any meaningful sense if they get their way.
Note that the Left doesn't like black middle-class people either, or Hispanics, or Asians. In the United States, much of the hated middle class is white, so racialist rhetoric can be used for economic warfare, and the Left assumes it has permanent control of other demographics.
But if push came to shove, and achieving the final defeat of the middle class involved turning on prosperous blacks and Hispanics, the Left would do it in a heartbeat,. Class enemies would be stripped of their protected minority status and told they aren't "really" black.
"If you aren't voting for me, you ain't black." Sound familiar? You'd get that times a million if the black and Hispanic middle classes turned against the Left. Nothing terrifies them more than the danger of losing their political grip on increasingly prosperous minority groups.
That's one reason all of this violent chaos is happening right now. The Trump economy was threatening to bring profound social change through high employment and rising wages. That's an existential threat to the Democrats. They aggressively eliminated the threat. /end
