Oof.

Okay. Fans. Let's make something clear.

There is a big difference between requesting something show up in a piece of fiction, and then *telling the production crew how to do it.*

Because if you do the latter, it will likely never happen.
The reason is simple: if they read your suggestion and then do what you suggested, they've used your idea.

They have to pay you for that.

You essentially sent an unsolicited micro-script and that's a huge no-no.
You're going to find that a lot of the people who create the stories you love have never and will never read your fanfiction of any kind.

That's to spare themselves liability.

Couching your suggestion in the form of a teeny tiny spec script has just nuked your suggestion.
You get hired by the people working on the thing.

That's it. You go through whatever channels they have in place to pay people for work.

If there aren't any, then there aren't any.
There is only one case I know of offhand where this kind of thing ever "worked out": Venom.

Venom was an unsolicited pitch to Marvel Comics via the letters page.

Marvel paid the dude $220 outright, then went on to make millions that fan never ever saw a dime of.
