When I saw the H and L visa ban from Monday, I immediately saw the language that they discuss in the article. The immigration law is being used by Trump's disciple Stephen Miller like a surgical tool, carving out as much legal immigration as possible. But why? read on

Conservative GOP Senators have Trump's ear, and they told him to suspend major visa categories. These include Cotton (R-AR), Cruz (R-TX), Grassley (R-IA), and Hawley (R-MO).

Cotton wants to reduce legal immigration by half. He does not want to add even one more visa number for employment based immigrants. He at least wants to eliminate the per country limits that #S386 seeks to remove

But what comes next is that everyone with an approved I-140 in the EB-2 and EB-3 category will need to go through PERM Labor Certification again. That's the next ban, and it is going to force long term Indian, Chinese, and Filipino employees to self-deport in many cases

To achieve Sen. Cotton's (and friends) wish for reduction of immigration by half, the immigrant visa ban went into effect denying FB numbers, and 25K fewer EB numbers will be used this year losing them forever, then next year we will have more EB numbers but...

The next ban to come which requires re-PERM of already approved EB-2 and EB-3 cases, is going to end up wasting ALL the numbers next year, losing those numbers forever! FB numbers roll over to EB, but if you waste enough EB numbers they're gone forever, even the rolled over ones

So I hope all you people in the backlog, Indians, Chinese, and Filipino, understand what is coming next because it is going to make your life even more unbearable. This is precisely why I tell you that Republicans who have these number reduction objections should be called out

And when calling out these Republicans who want less immigration, not more, please be respectful, and peaceful, and do not call names but by all means make your voice heard in the Republican halls of Congress. They are people too, and if they see your pain, perhaps they'll change
