Shaykh Úthmān ibn Fūdī al-Mālikī al-Ashárī al-Qādirī was not a Najdī, rather he was a Sūfī Mujāhid who affirmed the permissibility of Tawassul by the Anbiyā’a and Awliyā’a.
At the end of every chapter in his book Iĥyā’a al-Sunnah wa Ikhmād al-Bidáh, he supplicates:

Not only this, but he even wrote regarding Istighāthah with the Awliyā’a and the method as to how it should be performed in his book Salāsil al-Dhahabiyyah. According to the Najdīs such things are major Shirk and make a person a Kāfir whose blood it is lawful to spill!
Here, we see he exhorts Istighāthah with Shaykh Ábd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, something considered not only to be Bidáh by the Najdiyyah, but they consider this saint-worship and associating partners with Allāh!
