There's no justice in Iran.

You're at the mercy of erratic judges who can play with your life!

1-Political prisoner, Saba Kord-Afshari, 19, had been sentenced to 24 years.

After reducing her sentence, the judge now decided to increase it again.

Imagine this happening to you
2- Saba hasn't committed any crimes. She merely participated in #WhiteWednesdays to say no to forced hijab and #IranProtests to say no to economic mismanagement.

The authorities have arrested her mother, Raheleh, as well for supporting her daughter.
3-In a letter she wrote from prison, Saba said "we're hostages in the hands of this government".

In Iran, a judge can wake up one day and decide to increase your sentence without any legal basis, because he wants so!

Saba and many others are innocent

1-Meet @P_Salahshouri, a a so-called reformist MP from the Islamic Republic of Iran. When she first came to power, she made promises to improve women's conditions. Not only has she not delivered her promises, but she has now turned to targeting anti compulsory hijab activists.
2-Salahshouri had conjured up a lot of hope. Reformists claimed women like her would save us. But immediately after entering parliament, she adopted the conservative chador. In other words, she did not even stick to her own way of dressing and she bowed down to pressure.
3-Recently, she reacted to my TV show by claiming that it is more honourable that she stays in Iran and wear hijab despite the threat of being jailed. She claims that it’s dishonourable that I produce a TV show outside Iran without wearing hijab.

1-Her name was Fatemeh. She couldn’t live her childhood. She was forcefully married to her abusive cousin at the age of 17. She was beheaded by her husband with the help of her own parents. The anti-women laws in the Islamic Republic of Iran facilitated this murder
2-I’ve interviewed one of Fatemeh’s family members who broke her silence on the injustice that Fatemeh faced. From the very outset, Fatemeh was forcefully married to her cousin. She never wanted this marriage. But her pleas fell on deaf ears.
3-When I asked the family member about why she decided to break her silence, she said: “We’re tired of seeing death around us. The cousins had previously killed their own sister in honour killing. And now Fatemeh! Many other families did that. Honour killing is widespread here”

1-Once upon a time, there was this beautiful & lively girl in our small village called Qomikola.

Her name was Mehrnoush. Her childish laughter would fill the air with joy. She loved life, until the day she set herself on fire.
2-Mehrnoush had captivating look. She was 3 years younger than me, but she got married to a man who lived in a nearby village. When Mehrnoush got married, girls of our village didn’t get a chance to see her before her departure.
3-Mehrnoush left. With her, her contagious love of life also left us. She would discreetly visit the village to see her family, but gone were the days when she’d mingle with other girls and crack jokes. It was as if she had been forced to grow up overnight in her childish body.
