Congratulations @SJPilon you solved round #8 of #ISpyWithMyMicroscopicEye this case this is a Echinococcosis (hydatid) cyst

Check out my youtube video that describes this case at;
Here is a digital slide that shows the cystic area with interspersed protoscolices

Here is one of my previous #Tweetorial on the topic with a case involving the liver.

Here is another case that ruptured and incited a large inflammatory reaction in the overlying pleura. If you look closely you can see some residual hooklets.

The hooklets can be nicely highlighted by an AFB histochemical stain.
Some key points on the case:
➡️Most often caused by Echinococcus granulosus
➡️ The definitive host is dogs/wolves
➡️ Intermediate hosts are sheep and humans
➡️ In intermediate hosts a hydatid cyst will form most commonly in the liver, lung or brain
More points:
➡️ FNA or rupture of the cyst can cause a severe allergic reaction
➡️ The hooklets are positive on AFB stains
➡️ The cyst can often rupture into the airway and patients can report coughing up salty material and hooklets can be see on sputum cytology samples
One more point:
➡️ In treated cases only the hooklets may remain which can be highlighted by dropping the condenser on high power
