Seems to me Trump decided how he wanted to respond to the intel. He further kissed up to Putin

The Marines killed in April 2019 attack near Bagram were from a reserve unit headquartered out of Garden City, NY. The Defense Dept identified Marine Staff Sgt. Christopher Slutman, 43, from Newark, Delaware; Sgt. Benjamin Hines, 31, from York, Penn.; & Cpl. Robert Hendriks, 25,
from Locust Valley, NY, as the Marines killed in April 2019. The 3 were all infantrymen assigned to 2nd Battalion, 25th Marines, a reserve infantry unit out of Garden City, NY.
Hendriks’ father told AP that even a rumor of Russian bounties should have bn immediately addressed.
“If this was kind of swept under the carpet as to not make it a bigger issue with Russia, and one ounce of blood was spilled when they knew this, I lost all respect for this administration and everything,” Erik Hendriks said.

👉🏼So, Stone was closely coordinating with Trump, Trump campaign chairman, dep. chairman, & CEO on cordinating with Wikileaks/Assange on material stolen by Russian govt it had & would release to damage Trump rival, & Trump lied to Mueller about it & Stone lied to Congress about it
And then Barr got rid of the US Attorney for DC and replaced him with a former staffer and put heavy pressure on his former staffer then acting US attorney for DC to go easy on Stone sentencing because of Stone’s relationship with the president, Zelinsky is saying.
(correction above, should have used “her” when referring to the former US attorney for DC who Barr got rid of to make way for corruptly and blatantly interfering in several cases to protect associates of Trump, including those of Roger Stone and Michael Flynn.)

What I heard repeatedly was that Roger Stone was being treated differently from any other defendant because of his relationship to the President. I was told that the Acting US Atty for DC Timothy Shea was receiving heavy pressure from the highest levels of @TheJusticeDept
to cut Stone a break,& that the US Attorney’s sentencing instructions to us were based on political considerations. I was also told that the acting US Atty was giving Stone such unprecedentedly favorable treatment because he was “afraid of the President.”judiciary.house.gov/uploadedfiles/…
“That explanation was deeply unsettling. Together with my fellow line Asst. US Attorneys, I immediately & repeatedly raised concerns, in writing & orally, that such political favoritism was wrong and contrary to legal ethics & Department policy.
Our objections were not heeded.
