Kirsty has had a brush with the truth when prank calling Kenzie as a hen night dare. To our disappointment, Phillip smoothed things over and she's still none the wiser #thearchers
Helen is in despair over the lake of milk and mountain of unsaleable cheese. Jill and Ben were getting on well, but he may have blown that by losing her swarm of bees. There's a lot more of this but like much of TA, it's background stuff. #TheArchers
I think perhaps we forget how boring most of the filler stories were in #TheArchers in normal times. We love it all the same, though 😊
And another thing. Susan beat Jolene in the Radio Borsetshire DJ competition, and has won a show of her own. This has turned out to be quite popular with listeners #TheArchers
A reminder: we are yet to hear the thoughts of Lynda, Robert, Alistair, Shula, Jim, Jazzer, Pat, Peggy, Brian, Jennydarling, Alice, Chris, Neil, Hannah, Ruth, Pip, TVOA and Usha. Plus a host of silents, so #TheArchers has plenty to go at yet.
Josh seems in two minds about restarting his farm machinery sales. One mind told us he would concentrate on eggs instead. He has recently found a new mind that prefers to make promotional videos about machinery. Ben refers to this Josh as Spielberg #TheArchers
Thank you SWs for answering our prayers. It seems the tweetalong's favourite cricketing maths teacher hasn't been forgotten after all #TheArchers
To increase ratings, Radio Carter has entertained the world and Borchester with the story of Tracey's most embarrassing date. Tracey plots her revenge #TheArchers
Meanwhile, Tracey's inner monologue reveals her concerns over meeting Roman's parents via video call. After wondering if they're into bedding plants, mangetout and all that, it turns out she needn't have worried. They're not stuck up at all #TheArchers
My *public service broadcasting* of Ambridge activities continues #TheArchers (thread)
Tonight, Ed is sheep shearing in Wales while Emma turns hay in Ambridge. I'm unclear who owns the hay.. At Lower Loxley, the purpose of the toilet repair is finally revealed, as Freddie is spooked by Lynda's portrait and decides he will indeed read her letter #TheArchers
The owner of the hay has been identified. It's Ed! He wanted Emma to get Will or Eddie to turn it to keep it drying, but Emma has given up asking them. In time honoured fashion, if you want something doing, do it yourself. #TheArchers
The feud (sorry, sisterly rivalry) between Tracey and Susan continues. Over membership of a quiz team - definitely not a sibling feud as Ed and Will know it - whilst Lizard's nerves about an online *date* with Ifty are the fishpaste in the cricket tea sandwiches. #TheArchers
Ed sings the praises of My Emma and thanks the fates that she wouldn't give up on him. He's making me feel inadequate, not being able to handle a tractor 🙁 #TheArchers
Susan and Tracey have been put on the same team in the virtual pub quiz. Susan is distraught, until she's able to correct Jennydarling's translation of post hoc ergo proctor hoc. Apparently it doesn't mean *I'll have another glass of German white please Brian* #TheArchers
It seems like Susan and Tracey aren't reconciled quite yet, and Susan can't remember who she has to apologise to. Well, we've all had nights like that #TheArchers
And the thread has broken again. Easily fixed and another opportunity to remind everyone about my public broadcasting service 😉 #thearchers
