On behalf of environmentalists, I apologize for the climate scare

Climate change is real but it's not the end of the world

It's not even our most important environmental problem

I am delivering my apology in the form of a book

Also, did a South Dakota police officer really ask you & your dad "if we’ve got large amounts of American dollars, weapons, or dead bodies in the car"?

I'm sorry to sound so skeptical, but I find it bizarre that a South Dakota police officer, caricature or not, would ask you and your dad, @Svante_Thunberg , if you had dead bodies in your car

Thanks for making clear your opposition to our systems of representative democracy & regulated capitalism

However, it is wrong to state that they can't solve our greatest ecological problems

Indeed, when it comes to climate change, they already are

CO2 emissions have been declining in developed nations for more than a decade

- Europe's emissions in 2018 were 23% below 1990 levels

- US emissions fell 15% between 2005 and 2016

- US & Britain saw emissions from electricity decline 27% & 63% (!) between 2007 & 2018
Emissions in developing nations will peak & decline, just as they did in developed nations, once they achieve similar levels of prosperity

Global emissions could thus peak and decline by 2030 or 2040

All of that's happening under our existing political & econ systems

The word "ethnic" means "relating to a population subgroup... with a common national or cultural tradition"

The notion that the people we call "black" or "Black" are more part of a common national or cultural tradition is obviously wrong, in both sense of the term "wrong."
We are a single race — the human race

There is great cultural and genetic diversity among people we call "white" "brown" "black" "Asian" etc

The notion that "Black is an ethnic designation" and "white merely describes the skin color" is howlingly wrong
