How #KimHeeAe helped me win my battle againts Covid-19.

(A Letter turns into thread)

Supposedly, this should be sent via snail mail. However, I am still doubtful if she will ever gonna receive or read it. So my last stroke will be on this platform.

Hi Ms. Kim Hee Ae #김희애 ! While you read this letter, I hope that you are happy and healthy. To be honest, I started writing this letter last May 2020 but didn't find the courage to finish this until today. By the way, as I'm writing this, I am healed and a Covid-19 survivor.

How did I get it? I didn't know. As far as I can remember, I went to work, got home and followed all the protocols imposed. Well, as they say " Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." :)

When Covid-19 hit me three months ago, my daily routine instantly turned upside down. I couldn't go to work, hug and kiss my family. Isolated in a room, I always felt tired even if I wasn't doing anything at all.

There were sleepless nights due to constant thinking about our uncertain future. I've had so many questions in my head. My stability was shaken. This sickness caused me to have anxieties. I was afraid, angry and worried about my situation.

Although, I mentioned it to my closest friends, I really didn't want to burden them with my situation so most of the time, I tend to read novels and listened to music just to kill boredom.

Until one of them suggested your recent drama " The World of a Married Couple (TWOAMC)".

I'm not into KDrama but upon watching it, I was hooked. I got very excited for the weekends to come because of new episodes. Not only I loved how the story evolved, I was also captivated by your acting prowess. Your eyes spoke volumes of emotions.

Then I decided to look on your previous projects.

From Secret Affair to Perfect Love (I was able to watch 10/31 dramas and 5/10 movies) I was immersed with every character you portrayed. I cried so hard by watching Perfect Love, that drama's a treasure! My most favorite by far!

You really deserved that Daesang! I really don't know how this may sound to you, but your dramas made me sad yet it consoled me at the same time. Being able to finish your dramas is the same as letting go of all the negative feelings that I have inside. I felt good afterwards.

Thank you, for unknowingly helping me out to recover. I may sound silly, but that's how I can explain your impact to me. I even watched your previous interviews and TV guestings which made me admire you even more. Mostly don't have English Subs but I didn't mind at all.

Thank you because I never felt alone. It’s really hard to be kept inside a room and not able to see your family. The silence during that time was so deafening. I always pray to God to help me pull this through and I know that you are one of His ways of assuring that I’ll win this

Thank for respecting us, your audience, by serving us your caliber acting. It really showed how you value your work and how impactful it will be to the viewers. Sometimes I wished that I could have discovered you earlier. Haha.

Writing this to you made me happy in so many ways. I hope you continue to inspire and learn something new every single day. People have their own battles and I hope that you will continue to positively move forward and enjoy your journey.

I will continue to pray that God will always give the desires of your heart. I will continue to pray for your family's happiness. This is my way of giving back to you.

Just wanna let you know that you gained another fan from the other side of the world.
