Buddhist chanting and its Evangelical connection.

Buddhist chanting is an Evangelical sect that is gaining adherents worldwide with a sunny, simplistic guarantee of peace and prosperity through chanting a Japanese phrase.
Cult-watchers denounce it, and ex-members distribute newsletters warning that its practices and all-absorbing lifestyle can amount to brainwashing.

The business model is similar to e-commerce marketing pyramid. It has 3 levels- product, brand and social proof.
That is the reason the cult uses influencers. In America, it is known as Hollywood religion. In India, most TV and cinema stars are into this practice, trying to influence the vulnerable young & confused minds through their cool English and posh lifestyles.
It's very seductive," says Sylvia Fuhrman, the secretary-general's special representative for the UN school. "All these glorious photographs. Their brochures are as polished and beautiful as National Geographic. But the more we checked into it, the less we liked it.
Nowhere can you find who is footing the bill. That's what alerted me. I thought of poor souls being enticed into it."

In such a business model, the person always approaches his or her relatives and friends. If you decline the offer, chances of displeasure may occur.
She or he may stop talking to you unless you say YES in order to maintain relationship. They don't mind cursing even their own blood relatives if they refuse to join the group. My way or high way.
And mind you these are the people, whose cool English make you believe that they are the most fashionable and cool people on earth.

Their pattern of attacking your belief is quite similar world-wide.
The members , according to their rank and file - have to recruit 11 people. So the hunt begins.

My encounter and patterns of argument

My friend who approached me was having the confidence of influencing me. so she spent money on me.
Took me to a show , then to a nice high end restaurant in her chauffeur-driven car and then started talking. Now look at the pattern,
What you get when you go to ashram? so many people are there, 500 people sitting there and no one gets attention?
If you are in need, how you get help? They don't even recognize you.

Instead we have a small group of 25 families, which help each other. If you need anything like money ( big money for your son's or daughter's marriage) or job or any other help then
we make sure that you should get it. And then this chanting gives us so much of peace. Whenever we are in trouble, we chant this mantra and most of the time, our work gets done, I can't tell you how peaceful I feel after the chant.
My reply

First of all, we don't go to ashram or temples thinking of getting some monetary help. We go there as seekers. It is our call. No ashram is calling us or forcing us to become their members. For money, I can join kitty party.
Secondly, what is so special in your mantra which is not in my mantra. All we need to do is to focus our energy on that particular mantra to get the maximum benefit. I asked her to prove that how her mantra is more powerful than Om namah Shivay (just as an example)
She couldn't prove it and was not having an answer. she got frustrated. She just said" Tum bahut debate karti ho". We laughed it off and her chauffeur dropped me home. Since then she is always busy when I visit India.
Our young kids, who look educated because of their successful career, in reality know nothing about the world and its vicious way of functioning. They are nothing but a prey to such organization.
They think they are different from others and part of some elite club. Something quite revolutionary. Some may even treat it as some kind of achievement, a new finding, Their recruiters do not allow them to explore other forums rather brainwash them against their faith.
Suggestion
All I can suggest is to explore your own Dharma before getting attracted towards an organized religion which will brain wash you and then control you and slowly, their words will become the gospel truth for you.And by the time you realize the truth,it may be too late.
Sanatan Dharma, means eternal laws which govern life and how can we be in tune with it. Meaning thereby that we all are bound to live according to the laws of nature. You can call it life process. It is as simple as that.
The beauty of Hinduism is that it does not dictate you, it does not judge you, it does not brain wash you or force you. It allows you to question, debate add or subtract. The very Dharma starts from a question itself- Who Am I?
I consider myself to be fortunate to be born as Sanatani and no one in the world can take that privilege from me, Please explore your Dharma and take my word it is beautiful, enjoyable, educative, informative and has the ability to stimulate your intellect and faith.
BE A PROUD HINDI.
