Some personal news.

I have met that special someone.

While we have not yet corresponded, I am quite confident the young woman who DMed me is very much Donna McVicker, daughter of a Turkish man... and my soul mate.

No questions at this time. Just be happy for us.

Well, this is concerning.

My future bride, Donna McVicker (of the Istanbul McVickers) has not responded to my reply.

I am beginning to worry my condo purchase in Atkinso, Gerogia, was perhaps premature.

Just to keep everyone posted on my budding courtship with the future Mrs. McVicker-Hoarse...

Naturally, I was eager to learn more about our future home. Atkinso, Gerogia.

Apparently that was a bit of a misunderstanding.

But then she asked about me... and now I’m terrified I shared too much.

I knew I should have photoshopped out Three Mile Island behind my simple country cabin.

I fear this may be the end of us.

Good news!

My beloved Donna was not frightened away by my humble furnishings!

See?! That’s what love is about. It isn’t about *things*. It’s about *feelings*.

Donna inquires into my eligibility and I have now shared my story of heartbreak.

I can listen too though. I’m an active listener.

Stay tuned, for it is not just I who has suffered heartbreak.

Donna has a story... and I have a heart that must hear it.

Unfortunately, I have a sad update but it is probably for the best.

Donna McVicker, of the Istanbul McVickers, was ready to take our relationship to the next level.

I, though, looked in the mirror and saw the tears of a clown.

As tempting as it was to open my heart to a stranger using an Eastern European model’s picture, a Scottish name and a Turkish backstory, I’m just not ready for that.

So, I let Donna go.

Apparently my breakup has hit the society pages.
