So, Albert Watkins, the lawyer representing the gun-wielding St Louis couple, may have been drunk on @CuomoPrimeTime tonight (as many have suggested).

But he would also appear to be a profoundly disturbed person. Which would fit, given who he is representing here.
Watkins founded and is senior counsel at St. Louis-based firm, Kodner Watkins. His bio says he is "self-centered, egotistical, and a self-proclaimed expert in all matters," able to "garner favorable media attention for even the most disgraced clients." kwklaw.net/albert-watkins
His website lists some of what I guess he regards as his most important victories. Who he chooses to represent, no surprise. How he describes the cases, something else. These are direct quotes.
"In State of Missouri v. James Strughold, Watkins successfully defended a white elementary school principal accused of felonious sexual misconduct involving 10 African American third-grade students. The principal was fully acquitted of all charges following two full jury trials."
"In Hammon v. Harris, Watkins garnered the first verdict of its kind against a young female who falsely accused a policeman of engaging in sexual relations and snorting cocaine with a female patron of a restaurant at which the policeman was working a security shift.
When the defendant would not appear for her deposition, Watkins procured an order mandating the woman be brought into custody and held in jail pending her deposition. During the ensuing video deposition, Watkins swiftly got the woman to confess & admit the allegations were false.
The video deposition swiftly became an internet sensation. A six-figure judgment was entered in favor of the policeman. The woman committed suicide thereafter."
Yes, you read that correctly, dude has the fact that a woman who accused a cop of sexual assault and apparently died by suicide after being deposed by him down as a "win."
There's more, about representing " the Obama mask wearing rodeo clown" and a member of the St Louis cardinals, which I will leave you to read at your leisure. Or not.

But, yes, the McCloskeys' would seem to have gotten the legal representation they deserve.
