For those who don't "get it" and believe this Russian bounty NYT story...

Let's pretend the NYT is an intelligence professional.

If they were to, say, get a dossier of "intel" and publish it without being able to verify any if the claims, that would be known as "raw intel."...

Or if they were to, say, publish something told to them by someone who wanted to remain anonymous & NYT wasn't able to verify the claims, going forward merely on their knowledge of the person, that would be "raw intel."

Between all of the 3-letter agencies, thousands of pieces-

of intelligence comes in EVERY SINGLE DAY, whether it be intercepted SIGINT or a tip from a HUMINT source.

If our military & intel agencies were to go after every piece of raw intel it received, they would be running around in circles non-stop.

Now, I know this is hard for-

leftists & media to understand, but sometimes people lie.

Sometimes its deliberate DISINFO or MISINFO to send our IC on a wild goose chase or throw them off the scent of an actual op.

Because our IC has been doing this for awhile, they know the SOP - Standard Operating ...

Procedures of most of our adversaries intelligence units.

You know how 2 ODNIs have said the Russian GRU bounty payment story doesnt match what we know about the GRUs SOPs?

That's a pretty damn good clue that this raw intel is garbage.

Could be deliberately planted by Russia

to, say, recreate the chaos that they put our country into for 3 yrs via the DISINFO they fed Steele & the useful idiots in our media ran with.

But it very well could have been a HUMINT source who just wanted some money and told their handler a lie.

Given that the subject

was in Afghanistan, I can tell you from my experience with HUMINT sources there that this is highly likely.

Furthermore, and I know this is hard for some to grasp, the @POTUS is a very busy guy.

The reason the IC doesn't brief the President with raw Intel in his PDB is, -

again, there are thousands of pieces of raw intel that come in EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Imagine if he opted to react with military force to a piece of unverified, raw intel that turned out to be DISINFO.

That would be a very bad thing, and if it was in fact DISINFO placed by-

Russia, it would be an action they wanted, likely to use the useful idiots in our media to hurt @realDonaldTrump 's re-election chances.

So what's the moral of the story?.

There are 2 options here: either the NYT doesn't understand what raw Intel is, or that only verified -

intel of the utmost importance goes into the PDB (not likely)...

Or the NYT is lying to further their "Get Trump" agenda.

These people are garbage, their paper is garbage, so don't let them get your blood pressure up.

To think he'd just let this fly, if it came via verified intel, is so obtuse its comical.
