Look at the word “literacy”; it’s basically the ability to derive information from a written word.

@Td_africa1 Secondly, it’s important to recognize when data is not properly represented. Be it structured or unstructured data, it needs to be represented with only the variables that are necessary for our purpose.

“What does the data tell us ?”
“What insights can be derived from it ?”
“What is the impact on the business ?”......among many others

Knowing how the data is composed (its type, its source etc.) will help you understand the data and its context.
