Concentration in Salah; a thread
First: if you still don’t pray, don’t dwell, if you struggle with Salah, start somewhere even if it’s 1 out of 5 prayers,1 is better than none! cos death could be anytime! I am sure one day will come you will be very sad even if you miss 1 of your Salah.
Second: know that Salah is your top priority and one day you will be questioned by Allah. NO excuses for not praying your Salah! DO NOT let go of your Salah this temporary painful dunya ain’t worth it wallahi-
as there are hundreds of people in their graves wishing to come back just for a single sujood to Allah, read your 5 daily Salah whilst you are still alive
1. before standing up for Salah, try to deal with all the minor urgent matters which might lose your attention. If you are pressed by hunger, eat first; if you are pressed to attend to the call of nature, relieve yourself.
2. Perform your wudu’ (ablution) well, paying.. due care and attention.
3. DO NOT rush in your Salah for this painful Dunya cos you’re standing in front of the One who is in charge of whatever you’re rushing for!
4. read your Salah like it's your last Salah! in fact it could be your last Salah since death could be anytime nothing can guarantee you that you would live to read your next Salah
5. imagine the scene of the day of Qiyamah when people will be lined up into two groups, one destined for Jannah, and another for Jahanam, and ask yourself where you would be placed!
6. recite simple surah that you can understand the meaning so that you can ponder on the meaning while you are reciting
7. place your eyesight to the spot where your head is placed avoid looking around while your praying
may الله (swt) protect us from the tricks of shaytaan during our Salah and forgive our mistakes.
