...and here's the official announcement🇯🇵 this port allows you to freely play chapters 2 through 5 in whichever order you choose, and it'll display in 4K on PS4 Pro

Natsuki Chronicles should hopefully be out by the end of the year
reminder: Qute's handling the J-PS4 ports of Ginga Force & Natsuki Chronicles themselves but the intl versions & PC releases are being handled by Rising Star Games, so news on those versions will come from them (& not until after Deadly Premonition 2's out, at the very least)

one thing they've emphasised about the co-op system is that they didn't put too much effort into balance—you're free to use character combos to shred bosses, cheese the branching paths, etc

you can do Zangetsu/Zangetsu runs in co-op but otherwise, 1P/2P have to be different
they've buffed all the returning characters too, they talk specifically about how Alfred's Voltic Ray is OP & Soul Vision, which they say was deliberately weak before, has been buffed

there's no sacrifice mechanic in this game, btw

wow, apparently the production period for Circle of the Moon 2 was just 4.5 months, including concept work
there's a lot of talk about the different charas, the returning charas, how 2P works... I presume they announced or are about to announce all this stuff at Bitsummit right now, but if they don't I guess I'll go over all this later

the Switch version exceeded IGA's expectations

the game was most popular in North America, Japan, China & UK; NA traditionally accounted for 50% of IGA's sales but he says they were even higher this time
on IGA appearing as a secret boss: one of the overseas staffers on the kickstarter campaign suggested it; he thought it was silly but the KS took off so quickly & required them to add so many stretch goals so quickly that his staff basically pressured him into it
