I am incredibly blessed to live in this nation where I am free to live a life of my own making.

I can worship God freely & openly with no fear of imprisonment.

I can criticize my government loudly & publicly without getting "disappeared". (1/4)
I can pick any job I want to have without worrying about being turned down because of my ethnicity or sex.

I get paid the same as my male counterparts for the same job & we can both compete for the same roles. (2/4)
I can have a diverse group of friends who think, look or live differently than me & no one would bat an eye.

America isn't perfect. What makes America great is the fact that we are constantly working to get closer to our ideals of freedom. (3/4)
Americans are always working to be better & to live up to what our Founding Fathers hoped we could be.

I'm so blessed to get to live & experience this great experiment.

How to spot a modern day racist:

Look for the person who refers to themselves as "unapologetically anti-racist".

These "anti-racists" are the most condescendingly racist people I have ever met in my entire life. (1/6)
These "anti-racists" believe whites are superior than POC & that POC can not catch up unless white people help them up.

They belive white people have to treat POC differently based on their skin color.

They get so angry when a POC stands up & pushes back on this ideology. (2/6)

Twitter's number 2 trending hashtag today is All Buildings Matter.

Leftists are using today to try to troll conservatives, liberals, & those who use the All Lives Matter hashtag. They're trying to make a point. What they're really doing is missing the point.
The irony is that they don't see what they're really accomplishing with the hashtag.

They're showing their ignorance. They're showing their lack of empathy, character, morality & understanding. They're showing their depravity.
They're showing that they don't really want unity - they want more division. This is a game & a joke to them.

They think it's a "Gotcha" but, really, it's shining a light & exposing their true colors. They've created a "gotcha" for themselves.

I sat in my 4th grade teacher's classroom that morning (thinking about my upcoming birthday) when a teacher ran into the room- tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Turn on the TV. Something happened in New York!"
Ms. Thompson stopped what she was doing & turned on the TV. Then everything went silent & seemed to move in slow motion.
We watched, in confused shock & horror, as the Twin Towers collapsed. We saw police & firefighters run into the danger as civilians ran away, as fast as they could, gray from dust & debris & gasping for fresh air.

Let them know how completely out-of-touch they are with the 30+ million Americans who suddenly found themselves unemployed. Remind them of those who now feel devoid of purpose because their work was so meaningful to them but considered non-essential to the government. (2/4)
Tell them about the people slipping back into depression and feeling suicidal. Tell them about the surge in domestic violence cases and hospitalizations of children and adults alike because they're locked in with their abusers who are more stressed than ever. (3/4)

The vast majority of people infected with #COVIDー19 survive. And doctors and experts keep saying that a huge percentage of people infected are asymptomatic - meaning the disease is even less deadly at it's already low rate of less than 1%. (1/6)
We also know the elderly are the most high risk and that children are the least at risk.

So why are schools still shut down? Why are healthy people forced to quarantine themselves (for the first time in history)? Why are businesses forced to shut down? (2/6)
