1. Assalamu Alaikum sister Bilqees, I saw your tweet earlier and I never engaged it because I don't find it strange, I only laughed and passed. Its not a big deal whatever choice you make in your life.

But I have a story for you try to read it under this thread
2. Disclaimer: This is not a counter tweet or an admonition but a story you can learn from.
Back in 2015, I was in Al-falah Islamic institute in Edo State, I had a (Then Salafi) friend named Madinah. She Islamically well grounded that her CV would look like this:
3. Hafidha of the Holy Qur'an, a
Memorizer of Arbaun An-nawawiyy and some many other hadiths with narrators and meaning.
Very vast in Arabic Language, spoken, written and reading.
4. When Madinah recites in the school hall, no single being talks due to the soft and sweet reciter's voice she is endowed with.

She was a staunch Salafi who read many books before adhering.
When Madinah came to Al-falah everyone wants her for himself already,
5. she is extremely beautiful and got sense. She argues logically and interact with basic facts.
She was a very religious lad which every man would want as the mother of his children.

Meanwhile, I was the Ameer of my class, and my brother was the ameer of the school.
6. She came to me one day for some clarifications in Arabic Literary poems.
And that was how I stole Madinah from everyone
😂😂
We had our ups and downs, we argued (never quarrel or fight though)😁😁People were already Branding us couples even before I became the Ameer of Alfalah
7.But myself and her only knows that it was just a teacher and student friendship.

Madinah fell for me without my knowledge and before I knew it she had already informed her grand mum who was a Malama of an Islamiyyah. She grew with her as her biological mother wasn't a Muslim.
8. Later, we had some heart to heart discussion and concluded on something.

Now, Madinah upon making a background check on me discovered I am Tijjaniyyah adherent and boom everything scattered as she was a Salafi adherent.
9. Effort to make me renounce tijjaniyyah proved futile and she tried all her best, we seat to interact but she was no match for me as Allah would want it, and she is shy of me too. She continue saying it politely and begging me to join her as a Salafi or renounce Tijjaniyyah.
10. I made it clear to her that I can't sell my Paradise for Love.
She had a cousin brother who was a student in King Fahad University in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, she informed him about the situation as she had already told him about us. The cousin made arraignment with a lecturer
11. in the university to have an interaction with me of which he did. I can't lie it was an interactive session. But
والدعاوى ما لم تقيموا عليها
بينات ابناءها أدعياء

Any claim without substantial proof belongs to false claimers and baseless arguers.
12. So she contacted another Salafi ustadh who till date maintains contact with me. He is known for his stiff condemnation among the Salafi adherence in Edo State. Still no positive news for Madinah.
I never informed my dad about it because,
13. my dad is the khalipha of Tijjaniyyah in Edo-Delta state and his 8 married daughters all married non-tijjaniyyah adherents.
Now, Madinah was adviced by her contacted scholars to go on with our plans but she refused. She moved on with life even though it wasn't easy for her.
14. She went to osun state to further her Islamic education and then to Kano state before coming back home.
October 2018 madinah's IV for marriage was sent to me then I was in my 300 Level in Al-hikmah University.

Behold, IT WAS WITH A TIJJANIYYAH SCHOLAR.
😂😂😂😂
15. I called her to get clarifications about it and to be sure she knows what she was doing. To my greatest surprise, Madinah had read about Tijjaniyyah and every thing she never listened to me to explain and was inspired.
16. She finally started her Tijjaniyyah journey and when the man came calling she couldn't resist and just said yes.
Madinah is today Ummu Abdul Halim, she calls me for some clarifications at times and whenever she needs to be cleared about something.
17. Now, factors that helped Madinah in achieving that are:

1. Allah destined it she is guided and she met her fate

2. She was a student of knowledge and was very good at research.

3. She opened her heart to seek the truth and she got guidance from Allah.
18. Just as Allah will say:
وعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا وهو خير لكم.

And you might hate something and its the best for you.

And a Poet said:

هو الفيض لا يخفى على من تبصرا##
فمن شاء يأتيه ومن شاء أنكرا
19.
Its a flood of (Islamic realism) that is obvious to he who have eyes, whoever wish trends the path and whoever wish should criticises it.

So sister Bilqees you are not the first and won't be the last. Other numerous misinformed ones will still follow till day of judgement
20. So sister Bilqees you are not the first and won't be the last. Your choice is your right. But the fact that its your right doesn't make it right.

Salam
