#DearMrPresident
As the country marks the 3rd month since KENYA imported COVID-19; please take note that the ENTERPRISE has not done KENYANS any good. Kenyans are suffering, and are hopeful that you are planning to relax movement restrictions put in place by your ADMINISTRATION
#DearMrPresident
Even with restrictions of movements, MORE Kenyans continue to get the virus. The NUMBER of Kenyans TESTED & found +VE stand at 7886 people. These NUMBERS are not new infections but +VE cases coming to light due to enhanced TESTING regime within the Country.
#DearMrPresident
The ELEPHANT in the ROOM is not about stopping the SPREAD of COVID-19! The disease is already spreading among Kenyans, even with lockdown & curfew in place. You now face TWO evils & must endeavor to choose the lessor of the two evils!
#DearMrPresident
The question you should to consider is:
Does your ADMINISTRATION need to continue LOCKING DOWN Kenyans, amid escalating FINANCIAL MISERY in the name of CONTROLLING a disease which is already SPREADING among community in spite of lockdown & curfew in place?
#DearMrPresident
You need to consider the following THREE issues;
▶ Whether, containing the SPREAD of Coronavirus through lockdown & curfews would be beneficial in the long-term, vis-a-vis opening up the ECONOMY which continue to take a beating nationally & at household level.
▶ Whether, locking down the entire economy is cost effective than identifying & developing appropriate public health protocols to take care of persons living with preconditions making them vulnerable to contacting Coronavirus.
▶ Whether, Kenya is prepared to handle COVID-19 emergencies resulting from COVID-19 fatalities which have been minimal so far, but is likely to shoot up in the coming months.

The @IEBCKenya is hereby ORDERED to plan for ELECTION in compliance with Orders issued by Mwita J. in PETITION No. 19 of 2017. @CREAWKenya
@lindahoguttu Your Twitter legal counsel is harbouring DEPRESSION from NULLIFIED 2017 Presidential Election & missed KEY logics
Logic 1:
The 2017 decision was by majority bench of the Supreme Court, not a CJ decision, the President moved on, Grand Mullah shd let the matter rest😨
Unfortunately Kenya ina wenywe, sisi wengine tukiitwa wenye nchi.
It baffles me that a reputed newspaper like @StandardKenya can carry such a Misleading Headline.
Simply put democracy in Kenya died, political parties & the country belong to individuals. Sisi wengine ni jeshi😨😨
Kenyans elect leaders to Parliament to Represent them. They BETRAY the TRUST & turn 2 Represent Party OWNERS who're members of EXECUTIVE. Sad 4 KENYA'S evolving DEMOCRACY. Unless Kenyans get Parties out of influence of EXECUTIVE, zombies like @SenOchilloAyako will just annoy😷
@BarrackMuluka resignation letter as Secretary GENERAL @anc_party is is an indictment to KENYA'S Political governance structures. Barrack resigned from @MusaliaMudavadi party. Political Parties are personal properties./1
#DearMrPresident
Be very judicious dealing with changes to CoK thro BBI. Proposals are elitist idiolog, intended at creating avenues 4 political brinkmanship, cronyism & chaotic LEADERSHIP in Kenya. BBI is tailored to serve interest of promoters & elite tribal power brokers. 1/7
#DearMrPresident
Political parties r no longer instruments of democratic governance but private entities, used by power brokers 4 personal gain. This erodes independence of parliament as an oversight body. Wanjiku MUST reject an elitist parliament controlled by the EXECUTIVE. 2/7
#DearMrPresident
Kenya records MORE than 100 registered Political Parties. The more the number, the more undemocratic. Political contests in KE reduced to TWO HORSE RACE. Why not regulate democratic space to only TWO POLITICAL Parties to fit the TWO HORSES race narrative? 3/7
Good Morning Mr. Ken?
I have a pressing issue, but since I can’t scale the gates of @StateHouseKenya without risking my life. Allow me to take a 3rd attempt to reach you on this medium. I have purposed not to give up. My concern is CS, Education. He is AN IDIOT! @olemarex.../1
I honestly thought @olemarex was the IDIOT until CS @ProfMagoha failed to figure out that EDUCATION SYSTEM is a CONVEYOR BELT. What informed GoK decision to recall back EXAMINATION CLASSES back to school? Then what? But wait! @FredMatiangi@MOH_Kenya@DrMercyHealth.../2
There is active CURFEW/LOCKDOWNS on some counties issued by GoK. How are students going to travel back to schools against current PUBLIC TRANSPORT RESTRICTIONS? Parents are also facing UNPRECEDENTED FINANCIAL STRAIN as businesses get paralyzed & companies lay off workers.../3
Listened this morning to @GladysShollei applaud GoK Copy & Pasted response to Covid-19 from Western nations. Very SAD indeed! My day totally messed up! Leaders should understand that informal sector accounts for nearly 89% of employment opportunities in Kenya (ILO 2018)?.../1
Workers in Informal Sector have no benefits like health/unemployment insurance, paid leave, tax rebate to cushion them as is the case for Western ECONOMIES! Self-employed workers who are majority need to work every day to earn a living & pay for basic household necessities.../2
Does @GladysShollei understand the agony families now face bcos of disruptions associated with lockdown? Adding to the fact that workers/jobs in informal sector are temporary, low remuneration, with no social security. This expose workers to risk of injury & ill health?.../3
