I decided to educate myself on the Roman empire because it is the model of elitism that is killing the planet today.

Wah! Yani... You know this story of Africans being so tribal, killing each other and need to be pacified by imperialists?

The Roman empire built itself a myth. They told themselves that they needed to colonize Europe and Northern Africa to save the tribes who were barbarians killing each other

Remember that this is the curriculum on which British colonial officers were trained.

The Roman Empire itself is an orgy of violence. Its city was started by twin boys, Remus and Romulus, who were raised by a wolf. Then when Rome was started, Romulus killed his brother to rule Rome.

When an empire is started in such violence, what do you expect from its admirers?

And then the violence continued. Rome a gang of male bandits. No institutions, no culture. So they needed institutions and people to back the empire but had women and no families.

Guess what they did. Again, shock.

If you listen to the history of the Roman empire, it's about blood letting and war. Emperors were succeeded through murder. Romans used to hold blood baths in the Colosseum. The Roman soldiers treated the "tribes" they beat like dogs. Like crucifying slave rebels along a road.

At some point, I had to put a pause on reading this stuff. It is so violent. It explains why Euro-America is so cannibalistic.

But back to why it matters.

The British colonial officers were educated on the idea that Britain was the new Roman Empire.

Before colonial officers came, their training did not include information about us. That was "theory" and was not necessary. So they landed in Africa clueless about the environment, and could be posted to work anywhere with no re-orientation.

Aka: colonial officers were barbies.

Because imperial curriculum had no content, British colonialism trained officers on 2 principles:

1. Ignore the problem until it's too big to ignore
2. For other problems respond with maximum violence, no matter how small the problem is. A shot in time saves nine.

The Kenya civil service operates on the same idea. Its job is to maintain the British interests in the name of "benchmarking," or "global standards," or "quality."

Britain maintains empire abroad because it's how it convinces white tribes like Scots and Welsh to stay British.

Whatever the case, the idea of tribes didn't start with us. It was created to justify empire. And the real people who need to decolonise are the Europeans. Their ethnic communities and languages were suppressed by aristocrat class who are all related to each other.
