Hear about the guy who saw his neighbor's house burning, 5 houses down, but didn't warn his family?

No, he said "It'll be out soon, by April, like a miracle." He didn't call the fire dept. until half of his house was burned down.

He wanted praise for this.
TRUE STORY.
His neighbor, Mr. Ghyna, tried to warn him. He said this fire is out of control.

But the guy was busy tweeting, and telling his friends how great he was. All of his friends, wearing red hats, agreed with him.

A bunch of people died in his house, but he was mad at me media.
He was also, for some stupid reason, in charge of the water supply that would help put out the fire.

But he was pissed at some of the people in that house, so he said he'd only increase the water pressure if they were nice to him.

He was a real scumbag.

16 years ago, I was in the grips of alcohol and drug addiction that was destroying my life.

16 years ago, I said goodbye to drugs and alcohol, and hello to life.

16 years later, I'm enjoying the hell out of my life. One day at a time.

THAT #IsMoreSatisfyingThanSex.
I tried to stop A LOT.

Family members tried to intervene.
I was arrested numerous times.
Hospitalized.
Went to many different rehabs and programs.
Pretty much thought I was hopeless.

Ultimately, when I realized my kids might have to grow up without me, that was what did it.
Some of my worst days:
- Being homeless for 4 months
- Getting arrested shoplifting
- Selling the AC during a heatwave
- Selling my kids toys

The blackout of 2003 helped me.

I had to snap out of it QUICK, and into parenting mode. A few days later, I got myself clean for good.
