In 2019, the Nigerian government received a total of $5.63bn from @Shell. This represents a 12.03% decrease compared to the amount received in 2018.
The highest payment from Shell was from Production Entitlement which amounted to 70.76% of the total payment

99% of FG's Total Revenue in Q1 was spent on servicing debts!
Unsustainable!!!

Revenue fell drastically as FG realized just N950bn- less than 50% of the expected N1.96tn

Total expenditure: N2.37tn
Capital expenditure: N139bn

What was Nigeria's Budget Performance in Q1 2020?
FG earned N464bn in oil revenue which is about 70% of the expected prorated figure of N659bn in Q1

Non-oil revenue, including CIT & VAT stood at N269bn

In the light of new economic realities, will FG still be able to meet its revenue target of N2.64tn for the full year 2020?
Other revenue earned in Q1 include; Independent revenue (N51bn), Domestic recoveries (N59bn), Stamp duty (N115bn) and special accounts (N166bn) among others

In 2019, the Federal Government spent 60% of its Total Revenue on debt servicing

Total revenue increased to N4.12tn in 2019 from N3.86tn in 2018

Total expenditure was N8.29tn & Statutory Transfers was 428bn

FG's 2019 budget was anchored on an oil revenue projection of N3.68tn but the actual oil revenue earned was N1.37tn

This represents a 30% decrease in oil revenue when compared with the N1.96tn earned in 2018.

Non-oil revenue earned was N1.23tn from the expected N1.4tn
FG's independent revenue projection was N631.08bn but the actual received was N557.34bn

Signature bonds, Grants & Domestic recoveries did not meet up with their projected revenues but FG's balance in special accounts got a boost of 96% compared to the projected.

More on #OpenTreasuryRedFlags🚩: Payments totaling N421 billion were made on the 30th & 31st of Dec, 2019 - this represents 9% of total payments made in 2019.

It is worrisome that the government made such large payments on the last 2 days of the Appropriation Act.

A series of payments to the tune of N850 million were made to VATSA MOHAMMED ADAMU- a personal account in 33 different transactions between Jan. & June, 2019.

Is this appropriate?

Two separate payments of N1.01billion each were also made into a personal account -ABDULKADIR ABUBAKAR on the 21st & 24th of June 2019, respectively - without any description

This is a huge red flag that needs a solid explanation.
