Predictions: Tomorrow SCOTUS will (1) grant a victory to Manhattan DA Cy Vance who will then be able to obtain years of Trump’s personal and business tax returns from Mazars; and

1/

(2) remand for lower court to determine whether the congressional committees had a proper legislative purpose to obtain tax returns from Mazars and records from the banks; and

2/

(3) express skepticism that House Financial Service’s committee money laundering investigation had a proper legislative purpose.

Note: The House Oversight subpoena does not explicitly ask for tax returns from Mazars, but does ask for financial records including " All statements of financial
condition, annual statements, periodic financial reports, and independent auditors’ reports" for example.
