One potential downstream effect of the SCOTUS rulings:

He now knows Congress will *eventually* get his tax returns and will assuredly pore over them for criminal conduct.

And that likely goes away if he is not president.

Trump now has a counterbalancing benefit from losing.

Trump is less afraid of fighting out whatever may come in court than he is of the public humiliation that will come from his exposure as a criminal fraud and failure.

Congress’ ability to shame him in the future IS the kind of thing that would make him suddenly mind losing less.

Been saying it for a while but watch what happens with Trump as he goes on vacay to his resorts this month.

Narcissists need to save face and that starts in their own minds.

Trump is going to shift toward being more attracted to *not* being president any more.

His time at his clubs is going to feed that. He isn’t going to want to come back.

It is entirely possible - likely, even - that Trump is going to slide more and more toward just mailing it in as a zombie candidate while talking up how great his next chapter will be.

Be on the lookout for what Trump says and for the gossip that comes out right after Trump’s vacations.

We’re about to hear that Trump is beginning to mutter aloud about how he will win by losing and it’s all rigged and he’s too good for the job blah blah blah.
