2/5 This is when monsoons hit southern India. It spreads to rest of India soon and heavy rainfall & floods follow.
To tide through harsh weather our ancestors suggested
~Reading Ramayana
~Visiting Shri Ram's temple.
Shri Ram's temple in Thriprayar(Kerala) hs unique traditions.
3/5 Thriprayar Shri Ram temple hs unique traditions like celebrating SETHU-BANDHANAM( building of the RAM SETU) by Shri Ram.
Proof that this is not a story bt part of our history!
The idol of this temple is abt 5000 yrs old,ws originally worshiped by Lord KRISHNA in Dwaraka.
4/5 This period is also associated with poor health, so our ancestors hv also suggested us to take
~aushadha kanji (a tasty porridge made of herbs & jaggery)
~Ayurveda treatments
for building immunity of our body.
In my article posted in 1st tweet I hv explained it in detail.
5/5 I hv also added a video to help ppl understand DAKSHINAYANA--when Sun moves between tropic of Cancer and Capricorn.
To most of us this sounds confusing, bt ancient SANATANIS wr well versed with the impact of vacillating astronomical positions of Sun & planets on ur lives.🙏
There r lot many things I hv not explained in this thread coz u see an article of 1200 words can not be surmised in jst a few tweets, bt still I've tried my level best.😃👍
India is a true treasure and we are lucky to hv bn born in this country.😍
Every yr I'm in India during this period (July-Aug).
I get to spend abt 5 days with my parents bt despite that my mother never misses a single day of her Ramayana parayanam (chanting).
Shows hw important this month is!!!
In July-Aug it rains like cats n dogs in south/south western parts of India/Deccan plateau.
Since last 2 yrs, this month hs also bn associated with extreme weather, cant 4get my bad experience last yr.
Last yr in Kerala👇(pardon poor audio quality).
This #Ayurveda treatment for EYE SIGHT I can vouch for. 👍👍👍
It really works‼️
I witnessed it myself (though from a different Ayurveda-shala) in Kerala.
One of our cousin was very upset that her daughter in pre-KG had poor eyesight.
Chechi/ didi told me she had the same issue as a kid and AYURVEDA treatment with oil and urad daal helped her.
That cream colour dough u see is usually made of URAD DAAL.
Chechi took her daughter to the same Ayurveda shala she went as a kid for treatment. I think complete cure takes place if the procedure is followed religiously for a few months.
Since they were living in UAE, chechi bought the oils to be used, from Kerala, and continued the treatment of her daughter, here at her home.
That kid — my god! has perfect eyesight now.
Touchwood‼️
Albeit I understood that if the eyesight related issue is genetical then despite curing it, the same problem recurs in the next generation.
As long as you’re ready to do the AYURVEDA treatment religiously, I dont think it matters. It produces results for sure.
Apparently, in kerala now they have such EYE SIGHT related Ayurvedashala everywhere.
Its just that some have greater expertise. 👍
I spotted this video and thought I will jot down our cousin’s experience.
Hope it helps. 👍
PS: The Ayurveda shala mentioned below is not the one chechi visited. It was different one in Thrissur.
There are many such Ayurvedashalas all over kerala. 👍
Ayurveda treatments take longer and need more dedication. But if the procedure is followed as per instructions it really produces results.
Found this video on Kerala tourism.
Seems people visit the place for this treatment.
