There’s some revisionist history being written so to clarify:

There was ZERO consensus in Feb/March that masks worked against coronavirus. Insofar as there was agreement it was that they DIDN’T work & SHOULDN’T be worn.

This started from a tweet from @jaketapper wishing @realDonaldTrump had urged people to wear masks back then.

In hindsight, that’s a good wish to have. But let’s not pretend that the media was urging mask adoption then.

A little perspective on coronavirus deaths by state.

New York has nearly TRIPLE the number of deaths (32,000) as Florida, Georgia, Texas and Arizona COMBINED (12,118) despite having BARELY OVER 1/4 the population of those states.

Any reporting that omits that is propaganda.
That combined state total is also still less than New Jersey (15,400). These numbers are from NYT: nytimes.com/interactive/20…
Eventually we’ll have a reckoning about what went wrong. But if that doesn’t start with why so many more people died under the leadership of @NYGovCuomo than elsewhere, then it isn’t a reckoning at all.

You may remember, in the ancient days of 2018, the entire Dem-media industrial complex assured us that, if Brett Kavanaugh joined the Supreme Court, he would empower an imperial presidency.

Today’s news showed that to be a farce. I think some apologies are in order.
Let’s start with the electeds. There were some pretty bonkers claims made, but my personal favorite has to be from @RepMaxineWaters, never one to shy from a conspiracy theory that might hurt President Trump.
