When I wrote this four days ago, as Republicans vowed to press forward with reopenings, Florida reported its 4,000th death of Covid. It has now added 70,000 infections in the past 7 days. That's 1 new case every minute. newrepublic.com/article/158394…
It is not an exaggeration to say that Republicans are actively pursuing public policies, against all available scientific and logical reasoning, that they know will kill many thousands of Americans, particularly the aged, poor, and immunocompromised.
Incidentally, US federal law states that whoever subjects a target group "to conditions of life that are intended to cause the physical destruction of the group in whole or in part," resulting in deaths, is guilty of genocide, punishable by execution or life imprisonment
One correction: My math was off. With roughly 70,000 cases in the past 7 days - or 168 hours, or 10,080 minutes - Florida is adding cases at a rate of *7* per minute, not 1.

As more than 15,000 Floridians discovered they had coronavirus, the president freed a septuple felon with knowledge of presidential criminal activities and the felon shared celebratory champagne in Fort Lauderdale with politicos & leaders of his militant white nationalist network
It also shouldn't be lost on you that Roger Stone, Brad Parscale and Donald Trump, among others are at home living in the bluest counties of Florida, because the bluest precincts aren't the richest ones, and the rich are united behind their bully defenders
One last note: The death toll from Chernobyl is deeply uncertain -- that's what state coverups do -- estimated at 4,000-40,000, though Greenpeace has estimated 90,000-200,000. The US's exceptional, dithering, Trump-led response to Covid is already America's Chernobyl. 
The killing is not the *stated* point of the policy, but it is the hallmark of every slaveowner, feudal lord, and commissar who demanded their subjects' labor productivity above all
