"Pardon me. Are you Aaron Burr, sir?"
Burr, seen here in an 1836 lithograph, is largely seen as the @HamiltonMusical antihero. We'll soon see a lot of the history between Burr and #Hamilton.

Samuel Seabury was the first American Episcopalian bishop, and as we see in this #Hamilton scene, a Loyalist to the British Crown. The date of this portrait is unknown.

The ruler of Great Britain during the time of the American Revolution was King George III—seen here in an undated portrait that looks very similar to what the character wears in #HamiltonFilm.

While #Hamilton was one of Washington's aides-de-camp, he met Elizabeth (Eliza) Schuyler in early 1780. This engraving shows Eliza, though the date is unknown.

Elizabeth Schuyler and Alexander #Hamilton married on December 14, 1780. This photo shows the Schuyler mansion in Albany, NY. The lower-right windows are in the room where they wed.

The Battle of Monmouth, referenced in the #Hamilton song "Stay Alive" took place on June 28, 1778. This image shows Charles Lee and Washington during the battle, which ended in a stalemate.

Marquis de Lafayette was an important ally during the American Revolutionary War. Afterwards, he returned to France and became a key figure during the French Revolution.

The Battle of Yorktown, also known as the Siege of Yorktown, ended on October 19, 1781. The American victory in Yorktown marked the end of land campaigns, and the beginning of peace negotiations.

Theodosia Burr Alston was the daughter of Aaron Burr and Theodosia Bartow Prevost. This portrait of Theodosia was created in approximately 1900-1910.

This image created between 1820-1889 shows the Hamilton Grange Mansion, the uptown residence of the Hamiltons. Its original location was at West 143rd Street in Manhattan. It has since moved.

Before his fateful duel with Aaron Burr, Alexander #Hamilton left behind a letter to his wife Eliza. He called her the "best of wives and best of women," which ended up in @HamiltonMusical.
