Now that I reflect on that question - of why I started documenting these things - I still can't find a concrete answer. However, I'm sure of one thing: it's not just to document, but it's to let people know of this dark history.
I am pleased to count myself as one of those who were able share these stories and let everyone know of what was truly happening. Unfortunately, not everyone seems to understand that attacks on the media means decreasing the number of voices capable of telling the truth.
Others say that shutting down ABS-CBN was "justice being served." But what about justice to the men, women and children who have lost their lives during those dark times?
