1/n Varvara Rao was admitted to Leelavati in May 2020 for giddiness . Doctors declared him fit n later he was discharged . N now again demand for his bail due to health issues arised.

'Health condition' is the last refuge of Maoists and their sympathisers when the so called revolutionaries are denied bail by Courts due to severity of the crime . Same point was raised in case of G N Saibaba..

Many object to the fact that Varvara Rao is a Maoist . Interestingly, this 80 yr old Maoist poet has never denied this reality and left sufficient digital footprints as testimony to his Maoist thoughts n links .

Varvara Rao's organisation 'Revolutionary Writers Association '(RWA) also known as Virasam was declared as Maoist front organisation by RPN Singh , MOS ,MHA from UPA Govt in Feb 2014 .

In the first all India conference of Maoist front organisation Revolutionary Democratic Front (RDF) in 2012, Varvara Rao candidly talked about Naxalite movement and way forward ..please see the photos of the conference report by their sister organisation :

Varvara Rao was invitee for lectures in the memory of maoists Anuradha Ghandy and Naveen Babu where he glorified them as 'revolutionaries' . In those lectures as well , he promoted the Maoist thought .

The point is Varvara Rao is not in denial of the fact that he is a Maoist ..In fact, he wore that 'Naxal tag' on his sleeve all his life .. the allegation to be proven in court is whether he was part of Elgar Parishad conspiracy.

Wherever the hearing of Koregaon Bhima case was held , it was reiterated by the courts that there is prima facie evidence that the accused have links with proscribed terrorist organisation CPI (Maoist) . Let the law take its course . Wait n watch ..

As far as bail due to health conditions is concerned , the doctors will decide whether he is fit or not . Why to make it such a big issue ? Let the procedures be followed .
