Ben Garrison is literally suing the anti defamation league for criticizing his cartoons, an extension of the Ron Coleman theory that institutions people trust should not be free to have unfavorable opinions about conservatives
Ben Garrison is a cartoonist with a poor grasp of irony, who typically struggles to draw the President at anything less than half-mast. The ADL called this cartoon anti-semitic.
Whether it's anti-semitic to show prominent Jewish people holding puppet strings over national officials is a matter of opinion, and here, the ADL characterizes the work, not the man.
Ben Garrison complains that the President rescinded his invitation to the White House, not because he feared the introduction of mysterious stains on his portrait, but because the ADL characterized his work as anti-semitic and Wikipedia described that characterization:
Now, I'm no expert on whether it's anti-Semitic to blame the Rothschilds for controlling world events. But noted experts on anti-semitism, the actual Nazis, seemed to think so:
Garrison's lawyer appears to believe there is an evil Jewish conspiracy to make it seem like he believes in evil Jewish conspiracies:
The ADL, who should have KNOWN that it's not anti-semitic to believe in evil Jewish conspiracy theories, TROLLED Ben Garrison by doctoring one of his cartoons:
But the ADL notes that even conservatives felt the need to crop out parts of the cartoon, which became popular on *checks notes* "/r/forwardsfromHitler"
As for the "doctored" image, the ADL notes that the images was altered by white supremacists who were, shockingly, big fans of Garrison's.
Showing Ben Garrison's cartoon to criticize it was "conversion of property" requiring ten million dollars in damages. Hmmm.
Garrison says that everyone has come to the conclusion that his cartoon is anti-semitic, not because it shows the Rothschilds dangling George Soros from puppet strings, but because they all rely solely on the ADL to determine what is and is not anti-Semitic.
Finally, Garrison makes the humble request that the Court order the ADL not to mention him in any way or criticize his work.
One form of cancel culture is a bunch of people noting that Ben Garrison's cartoons precisely echo themes from Nazi Germany, who then decide not to hire him. That's the bad version.

The GOOD version is filing a frivolous suit to make it expensive to criticize him.
Finally, this remarkably anti-Semitic complaint was filed by Steven S. Biss, who represents Devin Nunes in a series of frivolous lawsuits.

Biss argues that not only is it TRUE that a Jewish conspiracy controls the military, but that things can't be prejudiced if true.
Devin Nunes chose this lawyer because he represents everything the modern Republican party stands for: that the Government should protect certain people from investigation or criticism.
And for people speculating that this is all going to go poorly for Garrison, it's not. He's going to raise a shit ton of money for filing this frivolous lawsuit, and the ADL is going to spend to defend the case. And they'll think twice before they mention him again.
