Dr. Fauci's webcast strategy: Monday, he spoke on a Stanford webinar. Tuesday, he joined an online discussion hosted by Georgetown. Wednesday, he is slated to appear at a live-streamed summit hosted by The Atlantic... (cnn.it/2WmqSOJ)
Fauci keeps speaking via streaming while the WH keeps blocking him from TV. Now don't get me wrong, web events are great — but they typically have a relatively small audience. Thankfully, his online comments are usually picked up by TV networks and shared w/ tens of millions...
Another Dr. Fauci webcast was just announced for Thursday: Fauci will be live with Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook at around 5pm ET, 2pm PT.

Simon & Schuster just published the back cover of the book – Trump's niece Mary writes, "Today, Donald is much as he was at three years old: incapable of growing, learning, or evolving, unable to regulate his emotions, moderate his responses, or take in & synthesize information."
Due to a temporary restraining order that is in place due to Robert Trump's lawsuit, Mary Trump is unable to comment publicly. But Mary has a new spokesman who can... he asks, "What is Donald Trump so afraid of?"

A short thread, borrowing from my forthcoming book HOAX:

Trump's campaign launch, 5 years ago today, was like the launch of Fox News. Both start-ups were mocked by insiders and embraced by outsiders. Trump sought to fill the same sort of void in politics that Fox filled on TV.
While others heard a rambling and racist campaign speech, Fox's Kimberly Guilfoyle said "it was like The LEGO Movie, the theme song 'Everything Is Awesome.' It really got me excited. I felt richer just listening to him!" Trump had big promoters on TV from day one.

Breaking: VOA director Amanda Bennett (@abennett) has resigned, per an internal memo, on the heels of Trump appointee Michael Pack taking over VOA's parent agency.
"As the Senate-confirmed CEO, he has the right to replace us with his own VOA leadership. We depart with the gratitude and joy that has marked our time together, with a dedication to our mission and admiration for each one of you," Bennett and deputy director Sandy Sugawara wrote
