When we look agog at male rapists being placed in women's prisons, or males in women's refuges etc. and think 'how, how can any sensible person support this', remember the government & officials used to allow children to visit paedophiles in secure mental hospitals in the 1990s.

An inquiry found that allowing children to visit paedophiles unsupervised on secure wards was a case of mismanagement, bullying culture, the wrong people being promoted, nihilism, a refusal to set boundaries all encouraged a dangerous environment.

@gayle_mccreanor @braveryofbeing @GraceBrodie I detest this 'argument' of we allow 16 year old girls to be exploited (we know there isn't a que of 16 year old boys trying to get married) so everything is grand. Culture in general couldn't envisage a legal age of consent until feminists campaigned on it.
