Portland police have escalated to attacking cyclists on main thoroughfares in daylight. I have a hard time imagining any context in which this is acceptable use of force.

[Edit] Looks like that's NB, not SB... I had my park corners backward. But the "primary route" part still holds.
Cops shouldn't be doing it in any direction... This should NOT be happening in a democracy, period.
