I post this whenever Graham lies about the origins of the Russia probe.

PS/ A POLITICO article is going around in which Graham falsely claims the first the USIC heard about Trump-Russia contacts was a) in mid-2016, b) from the "press"—the implication being their source was a dossier by former MI6 Moscow desk chief Chris Steele.

Nope. 2015. 7 allies.

PS2/ America is losing its history faster than ever before because media reports the new lie rather than the old history. Graham is given room to lie about what the USIC knew and when, but it falls to—of all people—folks like me on *Twitter* to go into the archives for the truth.

PS3/ If Graham wants to say the CIA and FBI didn't communicate well, he can say so. But that's not his game. How do we know? Because of his "bar talk" lie: a federal report says Steele met a source in a bar; Graham *transformed* that fact to a claim the intel was "just bar talk."

PS4/ Even now, we have far-right feeds all over Twitter challenging normal Americans with Graham's "bar talk" lie, which has gotten bigger and bigger over time: it now sees Steele's source "confessing" his intel was "just bar talk." None of this has anything to do with the truth.

PS5/ So we've gone from "seven allied nations warned of illicit Trump-Russia contacts in Europe in 2015" to "a man paid by Clinton wrote up 'bar talk' he heard in mid-2016, passed it to media, and the USIC had no info but those articles." The former: true. The latter: propaganda.

PS6/ But remember that—as the goal here is the destruction of American democracy—Graham's propaganda effort only *begins* here. Armies of Trumpist trolls then go on Twitter, find those reporting the truth, and say them not accepting the *propaganda* is proof that they're "crazy."
