Footage of the recommissioning of Climax locomotive 1694, at Puffing Billy Preservation Railway, on September 8th, 2013.
On 7 April 2001, Climax geared steam locomotive 1694 operated its last train on the Puffing Billy Railway in the Dandenong ranges east of Melbourne prior to undergoing a major overhaul/restoration.
Interesting found a couple of images of 1694 in PRO Victoria photographs.
Not dated. Looks like Newport, could have sent to the workshops for an overhaul?
