Another attempt at a longer piece. An imaginary Jerome K. Jerome writes about Twitter. All I seeded was the title, the author's name and the first "It", the rest is done by #gpt3

Here is the full-length version as a PDF:

I am really happy about the spelling of "to-morrow" at the end of page 2.
I made another one in a similar spirit - "On Wireless Fidelity" #gpt3
Complete version here: drive.google.com/file/d/1FW7zki…
And some more #gpt3 self-reflection. "On Being an Automaton"
PDF: drive.google.com/file/d/1CKTd6f…
Maybe I should turn these into a book called "Artificial Thoughts of an Artificial Fellow" before people stop buying books altogether when #gpt3 makes them according to their personal demands.

"On Giving Unsolicited Advice"

"On Social Distancing"

The interesting aspect here is that the #gpt3 training data ends in October 2019, so it doesn't have any knowledge about our current situation. If you wonder how "Corona" got in there - that was part of my prompt.

BTW - I asked it to end on a positive note:

"Now that I am free from the new danger, I am going to return to see them.

And when I do I shall do so with the pleasure which a man feels when he knows he can shake his friend by the hand and congratulate him on his escape."
"On Having a Choice"
In which I attempted to direct the flow and topics covered and came to what I think is a fitting ending.

In case you are not familiar with Jerome K. Jerome beyond "Three Men in a Boat" you should have a look at the original inspiration of this series: "The Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow":
