Biblical theory of India and the Myth of Ham

The Protestant movement considers Ham and his descendants as “Satanic" and was thus bitterly hated.
“Slavery as it relates to the Negroes or African Race” a book by Josiah Priest in 1843, appeared justifying slavery by dramatising how Noah had cursed Ham and thus justifying slavery.
Jones mapped Indians as offspring of Ham, Arabs as that of Shem and Tartars as that of Japheth. He used his 'newly discovered Sanskrit' saying that Hindus had the characteristics of Ham.
His theory was that, soon after the biblical floods, Rama reconstructed Indian society and India was therefore the oldest biblical civilisations!
The fourth Vishnu avatar Narasimha was translated as Nimrod a descendant of Ham.
This theory was taken by Robert Caldwell and sought to separate North Indians and South Indians, thus paving the way for Aryan-Dravidian theory.
