To set yourself up for success in life:

This can be anything.
Run, Bike, Play a sport.
Consistency will be key to maintaining overall fitness.
This is essential to maintain longevity.
A certain level of strength is required to keep your body moving optimally.
Obviously this should be done more if you are interested in building a more muscular physique.
This is the bare minimum
Try to stay as natural as possible.
Eat things that were available 500 years ago.
Eat things that don't have an ingredients list.
Avoid processed crap.
There's a big difference between having a few drinks with friends
and Binging on alcohol every weekend.
The later will do more harm than you know.
If the career you want to pursue requires an expensive education (Healthcare, Law, Ect..)
Seek all the options to keep this debt at a minimum.
Don't abuse credit cards to buy shit you don't need.
If you have no income find something you can do on the weekends and start putting money away into an investment account.
If you are not sure about why.
Look up "Compound Interest"
This is the key to ending up rich.
Don't rely on the education system to teach you everything you need to know to thrive in the modern world.
Because they won't.
I learned this the hard way.
Your mind is your most valuable tool.
Educate yourself on anything you are interested in.
There is an abundance of information out there and the majority of people are not using it.
Use this to your advantage.
It doesn't matter what it is.
Find something you enjoy and practice it every single day for a year.
This will put you over the top.
Having an income you can leverage from anywhere is the ticket to freedom in the modern day world.
Try things.
See what works, and what doesn't.
If you are naturally good at something, pursue it.
Most people will be too caught up with other stuff to embrace this.
While mastering one thing your strong at will put you ahead of the game
It doesn't take what people think to better yourself in areas of weakness
Spend 1-2 hours a week developing these, eventually they will fade and this will build confidence
"You are the average of the 5 people you spend time with"
I found this to hold true
Find people on the same wave length as you.
Bring each other up.
This is inevitable
Dont be afraid of it, embrace it.
If you can fail as early as possible
You will learn valuable lessons that can only be learned from failure.
This is easier said than done
But it's possible and should be trained
People will always have issues with what you do
Whether you are doing too much
Or not doing enough
Just go about your ways
Their opinions will do nothing for you
Traveling exposes your mind to the world, to different views of life, to different cultures and people.
It will help you grow, learn to interact with others, and develop social skills.
Travelling on a budget is possible.
There is no reason for you to know everything there is to know about the Kardashians.
Yet this is VERY common in society.
Avoid this shit as much as you can.
No need to explain this one.
With your thoughts.
This will help you get a better understand of who you are.
Its essential for growth.
Dedicate a few minutes a day to sit with yourself.
No music, No podcast, No people.
Just you and your mind.
I was fooled into thinking this wasn't "cool" my whole youth.
Writing helps you in so many ways.
Write about your goals
About what you want from life
About your mistakes
Write, Reflect, and Grow.
Don't go through this life without having a sense of humor.
We already have too many of those people.
At the end of the day, we are all gonna die and the world will keep going.
Make it a priority to laugh every single day.
Be grateful for what you have.
It could always be worst.
