#STATEMENT:

In the interest of full public disclosure, we have decided to comment on "reports" that the "Houthis" are oppressing Yemeni jewish communities in a specific area called Kharif District of the Amran Governorate.
The allegations were first exasperated on July 15 by the illegitimate "Yemeni" Embassy in Washington DC, occupied by an "Ambassador" with clear ties to the Yemen-branch of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood. But that is another story.
The "report" was later picked up by a lesser-known Egyptian newspaper, and then later published in Israeli publications like The Jerusalem Post and by the World Jewish Congress. It was a hot topic in Israel, which further proves the ties between them and the Hadi regime.
However, on July 16, The Jerusalem Post published a new article in which they retract their previous story. Turns out that the "Yemeni Embassy" in DC had been lying; There are no jewish community in Kharif district. Image
Furthermore, the Israeli Foreign Ministry was asked about the reports, and even they, out of all people, admitted that the "report" was a total fabrication and a lie. Other stakeholders with ties to the Yemeni Jewish community also firmly stated that the "report" was fabricated.
Till this day, the "Yemeni Embassy" in DC has refused to delete its fabricated tweets, and they are still online as of July 20th, 2020.

This entire change of events have proven how desperate the so-called "recognized Yemeni government" has become. They are losing.
Of course we take any allegations on minority oppression very seriously, but we also want to make this clear:

We are aware, where these allegations fundamentally come from. We are also aware of the rhetoric used by certain groups that might embolden such allegations.
However, we believe that rhetoric must not be conflated with on-the-ground truths, facts and conduct. The rhetoric, as of today, remains purely rhetorical and is not to be interpreted literally, as stated by multiple Yemeni officials in Sana'a.

#STATEMENT: From the Yemeni Media Union & the Yemeni Ministry of Information to the free people of the world:
1) "The Yemeni people have been exposed to horrific massacres committed by the Saudi-Emirati-American aggression against civilians, as the aggression deliberately cut off the internet and communications through the bombardment of the only window to the world wide web, affecting-
2) the entirety of the Republic of Yemen.

The current scene in #Yemen is beyond tragic, as the crimes continue to mount. It is a massacre, a crime, a major sin committed against a defenseless people by the Saudi-American-Emirati aggression.

At around 22:50 Sana'a time, the entire country of #Yemen went dark. Saudi bombardment of Hodeidah had left 4 children killed, up to 20 injured and the headquarters of YemenNet destroyed.

YemenNet supplies the entire country of 29 million people with internet access.
Six hours later, and #Yemen is still without internet access, and thus incapable of communicating with the world. For the Yemenis, the internet is a vital and important tool to communicate the crimes committed against its people to the outside world.
A few hours ago, we heard from credible sources that Sana'a, Yemen's capital, was under heavy bombardment with multiple casualties, and that a detention centre in Yemen's northern province of Saadah had been targeted. Deliberately, as always.

We have recently conducted a questionnaire, to which we ask locals in Yemen three questions:

1• Why are you against aggression?
2• How did it affect you?
3• Why do you support the defensive armed struggle against aggression?

The following are their answers.

"I am against aggression because their aggression attacked a sovereign state, and their brutal and unjust aggression killed, displaced, destroyed, shed blood, besieged our people and plundered Yemen’s wealth."

- Mohammad,
Civil engineer, Sana'a Image
"It is logical for any person to refuse an attack against him and his homeland. Also, the history of the Saudi Kingdom is known for violating the sovereignty of Yemen for decades."

Yesterday at 8pm Sana'a time, the spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces Yahya Sare'e revealed previously-undisclosed documents that details Israel's heavy involvement in Yemen's internal affairs.

In this thread, we are going to explain each revealed document:
Document 1: The National Security Agency of Yemen filed the visit of then-advisor to the Israeli FM Bruce Kashdan on July 14th 2007.

During his short stay, Bruce Kashdan met with several officials of the former Saleh-regime. ImageImage
The now disclosed document also further states that Kashdan's 2007 visit was the second visit after 2005. The document also details that the visit of Kashdan came on the invitation of the Saleh-regime in collaboration with the Emirati-regime. Image

To all our new followers: Greetings! We hope our current & future content will benefit your path to knowledge on the Yemeni people's struggle. First of, here's a quick introductory thread explaining who we are, what we do and whom we "support" - so to speak: Image
The Yemen Solidarity Council, previously known as the International Solidarity Committee with Yemen, is a non-profit advocacy & consultation organisation established between western activists & Yemeni diplomats, as a way to expand global knowledge on the cause.
We work as a third-party intermediary for organisations of interest or public personas if they want to get in touch with local Yemeni authorities, we produce multimedia content to explain the viewpoint of the Yemeni majority and a lot more.
