The party of "personal responsibility", who elected an admitted serial sexually-assaulting, sociopathic narcissist who "takes no responsibility" for 140K dying on his watch.....is blaming the Right's Trump-led descent into "Illiberal Thoughts" (Fascism) on.....progressives....1/
.....despite citing an article advocating for the further Christianization of society by exercising the "extremely seductive" power of state authority.....while admitting that the Right was "already beginning to sour on liberal democracy"....2/ catholicherald.co.uk/christians-hav…
......in part, because of a "pathological...desire to publicly humiliate and subjugate the American Church". A few points:

1) As evidenced by electing/supporting an immoral sociopathic conman, the Right/American Church doesn't need any help publicly humiliating itself....3/
2) The author/Right whines about the subjugation (bring under domination/control) of the American Church....while citing an article that advocates for the unconstitutional integration of Church & State to impose Religious Authoritarianism on the country. 4/
3) The attempt to blame "illiberal thoughts"/fascism on the Left is another example of the Right's "manipulation of the interaction timeline"....as explained in this thread: 5/
The "manipulation of the interaction timeline" is a feature of Trump's pathological disorders, and a gaslighting technique that he uses often:... 7/
....to claim that Trump is a victim who is being treated unfairly............and that he is a "counterpuncher". 8/....
But Trump is neither a victim..... 9/
Circling back to the Right's "illiberal thoughts".....

....the Right is using the same manipulative, gaslighting tactic.
1. They elect the most unfit, incompetent, dangerous, inhumane, corrupt, and destructive president in history.....11/
.........enable, justify, and even "acquit" Trump's immorality/corruption/treason.... 12/
.......and when the of the country has finally had enough and reacts to the threat to our democracy........13/
...The Right manipulates the interaction timeline by:
1) ignoring the Authoritarian actions of an out of control president
2) pointing to the reaction/protests as an unprovoked assault on Law/Order
3) blaming their pre-existing illiberal thoughts/actions on that response/Left
14/
The manipulation of the interaction timeline is the foundation of "anti-anti-Trump": The Right refuses to acknowledge/condemn Trump's actions, and instead characterize the anti-Trump reactions ("TDS") as unprovoked, irrationality of the deranged Left. 15/
Other threads exposing of the party of "personal responsibility" blaming the Left/others for the feeble, incompetent, corrupt, cowardice include Rich Lowry's characterization of the reaction to Bill Barr's corruption as lacking "judgement/seriousness": 16/
...and a thread analyzing Andrew Sullivan tying himself in knots trying to reconcile his discomfort of the cognitive dissonance caused by, "the enemy of my enemy is a strange bedfellow", syndrome...by blaming Trumpism on the Left, Liberalism, & atheism: 21/
.....and a thread analyzing Bill Barr's attempt to blame the opioid epidemic on secularism/Left.....22/
.....despite some of the states that have been the hardest hit by the opioid epidemic also being some of the most religious states in the country, ...23/
.....as well as states with some of the largest income gap disparities (a consequence of the Right's financial policies)....24/
Similar to the article above, this was an attempt by Barr to impose authoritarianism (religious, and otherwise) on the country.... 25/
