He did his MBBS from Trivandrum medical college and MS (orthopedics) from Tirunelveli medical college.
He offered to do a pseudoarthrosis of tibia correction surgery at his clinic for a 6 year old child with congenital heart disease free of cost due to poor financial status of the child.
NCD(non communicable disease) program of Kerala health department has won UN Inter-Agency Task Force on NCDs (UNIATF) award in 7 th position along with other countries.
The program is implemented through various primary and secondary level health centre with monthly follow up, provision for testing and providing drugs free of cost.
This also includes monthly follow up for elderly people and distribution of glucometers to individual elderly patients. A big congratulations to the DHS team of medical, non medical and the ministry on this mega achievement.

An M.B.B.S student in kerala pays adequate amount of fee during his years of study.
Rs.25,000 X 200 students(Trivandrum MCH) = 50,00,000 lakh.
Except anatomy, physiology and pharmacology all other non clinical subjects have laboratories attached to them, where the faculties run them 24x7days. These include
-biochemistry(1st year)
-microbiology(2nd)
-Pathology(2nd)
-Forensic medicine(2nd)
After finishing house surgeoncy, they have worked for an extended period of 22 days.
Later they were posted for an extra months due to covid at various government hospitals at a salary of Rs.40,000/-.
These student are paid a salary of Rs.40,000/- out of which Rs.14,000 is deducted as "salary challenge".
This happens when there seniors are working for a better pay under NHM.
