Actually, it is as if wealthy Nancy Pelosi, wealthy Chuch Schumer, and the other multi-millionaires leading the left, agree with the Marie Antionette story.

has been replaced by "let them all use their home computers and send their kids to Harvard"

Currently, they are pushing to keep schools closed (and yes there are solid reasons), but what they advocate is that everyone go with virtual, computer-based, education at home.

But this assumes that every family has a computer for each child, that a parent can be there at home to guide the child, especially younger children.

So a family, maybe a single parent, with 2,3,4 children, which is the rule in many poor and minority neighborhoods, should do what -- if they can't afford all those computers, and can't afford to stay home?

But then these Democrats have lots of plans to send kids to college at Federal expense -- as if College education for all solves any real economic issues,

but it does show their disdain for skilled work, for mechanics, for plumbers, for electricians, for drivers, and for anyone outside the academic world.
