@johnnypasserby @RW_Crank @TWilsonOttawa CTV just showed the court documents on the air. He was banned from owning firearms for nine months and a fine for the assault, but the conviction would stay on his record. Possible he may have gotten a PAL again, but I doubt he'd ever get an RPAL.

I was up really early that morning, and about 3-4 am here (BC time) RCMP put out a statement that this guy was at large, people should stay indoors preferably in a basement, and if people see RCMP in their area not to be alarmed....
