Alright #roamcult, it's time to let the cat out of the bag - I have a new course that I think y'all will love! It's called GALAXY BRAIN because that's what @RoamResearch is giving us all 😁

Let me tell you all about it 1/n
Galaxy Brain is _not_ a Roam Tutorial - there's great courses on that out there already, free and paid. This course assumes you know your way around Roam! What I'll show you is how to implement Algorithms of Thought in Roam - to read and think better.
First, I'll walk you through the algorithms in How To Read A Book by Adler and Van Doren and how implementing them in Roam can look like.
Then, I'll give you some general concepts for structuring your Roam database to help you think. Finally, we'll cover some concrete advice on doing thinking in Roam (and in general).
Up until here most of this material is also available in Cite to Write, my academia-focused course on Roam. But not everyone is in academia, and citing sources etc. isn't as relevant to many people. Hence, a new course :)
But the piece de resistance! Is a library of videos on different algorithms of though that I'll add to over time. The first four will hit on Sunday, the next three the Sunday after that and more under way.
Currently, all of these algorithms work through plain text snippets that I'll provide you with - but as soon as @RoamResearch implements templates, I'll show you how to set that up.
If this sounds interesting to you, I'd love to have you join the course! Feel free to check it out here: learn.cortexfutura.com/p/galaxy-brain
If "Algorithm of Thought" sounds super strange to you, no worries! I have a new article out on @RoamBrain where I give a broad overview of how these Algorithms can work:

For those of you who already bought Cite to Write, you'll get free access to Galaxy Brain as well. I super appreciate your support over the last couple of months. Development on Cite to Write is not over!
But I want to make it more specifically tailored to academia, going from literature search to exporting from Roam and compiling, which is why I'm splitting this out a bit.
In any case - thank you all for your support, and if you want, check out the course! Here's the link again:
