Charles Koch, Paul Singer, Stephen Schwarzman, Peter Thiel, et al, don't need handouts from Steve Mnuchin's Magic ATM (although, because the gods of irony and sheer malignant chaos like a good laugh now and again, some of the Republican Party's wealthiest donors

have enjoyed a hefty share of those $2 trillion plus in taxpayers' dollars).

The rich men who own the GOP are morally convinced that if a bunch of peasants are stupid enough to get themselves born without massive trust funds, or at the very least an instinct for larceny

and a few wholly-owned Republican members of Congress, then they deserve whatever happens to them.

Tens of millions of Americans, furloughed or jobless, are about to run out of benefits, even as eviction protections are lapsing. More than 70,000 small businesses

have gone belly up, entrepreneurs' dreams smashed to dust because Steve Mnuchin gave so many billions to big Republican donors that there wasn't anything left over for some small restaurateur or beauty shop owner or small contractor.

Republicans hope that despair will boost public rage and instability into the stratosphere, sending Americans into the streets, boosting the crime rate (Ted Yoho knows that AOC is 100% right about the root causes of crime), and allowing Barr to send in his

little federal night riders, masked and violent, only in camo instead of white sheets, to round up the "trouble makers."

That, in turn---Republicans believe---will send white suburban voters rushing back into the arms of the GOP, the "law and order" party.

Just as Republicans have been willing to turn tens of thousands of Americans into human sacrifices in the pandemic to placate the billionaires, they are more than willing to blow up our economy and people's lives, if that's what it takes to cling to absolute power in November.

Of course, they're still planning on massive voter suppression and electoral fraud. I mean, duh.

But they really deep down believe riots and bloodshed will help as well.
