From tomorrow, we’ll have to wear a face covering whenever we go into a shop.

Lately we’ve seen a lot of different methods for wearing a face covering.

Some great, some not so great.

So here are some notes on how NOT to wear one…

[THREAD] 👇
‘The Bruce Forsyth’

It’s NOT nice to see this, to see this nice.

If we’re wearing a face covering it needs to be over our mouth and nose; clearly just on the chin is too far south on the face map.
The ‘Bane’

Don’t be a ‘super-villain’ by only wearing the covering over your mouth and not including your nose.

The best available scientific evidence says face coverings may reduce the spread of droplets but this is only when used correctly and both nose AND mouth are covered.
The ‘Nosebag’

Stop horsing around!

See above – we need to make sure both our nose AND mouth are covered.
The ‘Neckerchief’

FACE covering. The clue is in the name.

We’re kind of defeating the object if we wear one around our neck.
The ‘Blindfold’

Do we even need to explain why this isn’t right?
The ‘Mask’

This mask propelled Jim Carrey into superstardom and helped woo Cameron Diaz’s character.

However there is zero scientific evidence it will provide any protection for anyone from the spread of Coronavirus.

Also the mask got thrown in a river at the end of the film.
So how SHOULD we wear our face coverings?

Well here are some important things to bear in mind 👇👇👇

You can find out more here – including info of those who may be exempt from the need to wear one: gov.uk/government/pub…
