ANCA/ANA positive associated diseases Image
🔹ANCA

@UpToDate : Testing for the presence of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) is useful to help diagnose ANCA-associated vasculitis.

Other considerations:
🔸ANCA-associated drug-induced vasculitis
🔸 ANCA-associated nonvasculitic disorders Image

🔹ANA

🔸Interpretation of a positive ANA test requires knowing the pretest probability of ANA-associated diseases ➡️based on a complete history and physical examination. Image
ANAs may be detected in patients with systemic autoimmune diseases (eg, systemic lupus erythematosus [SLE]), organ specific autoimmune diseases (eg, autoimmune thyroid disease), as well as infectious diseases and malignancies.

ANAs may also be detected in healthy individuals. Image
