TRUTH ABOUT THE OTTOMAN CALIPHATE!

The Ottoman history has been subjected to a great distortion and propoganda by certain Western orientalists who portrayed the Caliphate as just an empire with salacious Sultans and obscurantist Ulema. 1️⃣

They spread a wrong notion that it was an evil Caliphate which did not deserve a deeper research or study. The stated that the Ottomans killed and raped non-Muslims and carried out massacres. They purposely spread lies so much that the people started to believe them. 2️⃣

There was sadly none to counter this propaganda as the Turkish state under Attaturk was least interested in defending the Ottoman history. Instead the Ottomans were belittled the in order to glorify the new Republic. However if we read authentic Western historians & scholars. 3️⃣

We see that they have greatly praised the Ottoman institution for its administration, institutions, justice, tolerance, diplomacy, and military might. The Ottomans actually ruled by Sharia which gives protection of life, property, and honor to all non-Muslims and... 4️⃣

allows complete freedom of religion. I shall quote a number of prominent Western historians who cleared up Orientalist propaganda by stating the real facts which show the glory of the Ottoman Caliphate. Please read & understand these facts so we can counter the obscurantism. 5️⃣

These quotes debunk the lies and horrible propoganda against the Ottoman institution. We should learn & share these facts to propogate the legacy of the great Ottoman state which was the pinnacle of Islamic civilisation and power. May God bless the Souls of all Ottoman Rulers.
